Senior Safety Advisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong, positive safety culture on-site for the Perth Entertainment and Sporting Precinct
• Mentor site teams to improve health, safety, and wellbeing outcomes
• Conduct inspections, audits, and investigations with practical follow-up actions
• Provide clear and timely safety advice to project and senior leadership
• Manage rehabilitation and return-to-work processes when required
• Work closely with project leaders, supervisors, and crews to embed safe, practical systems

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a senior safety role within the civil or construction industry
• Diploma in OHS (a degree is highly desirable)
• Strong legislative knowledge and understanding of safety regulations
• Proven ability to influence, coach, and build trust with diverse site teams
• Experience managing incidents, investigations, and corrective actions
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
• Current Driver's Licence and access to own transport
