Senior RTL Silicon Design & Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and productize next-generation PCIe, CXL, and connectivity solutions for datacenter, AI, and communications markets
• Participate in all phases of the product development cycle, including architecture, design, documentation, prototyping, and validation
• Create comprehensive testing plans, including Compliance and Interop testing, and provide feedback on design implementations
• Execute pre-silicon and post-silicon validation for new PCIe-enabled blocks
• Take responsibility for IP design, silicon bring-up, validation, and IP release
• Collaborate with global engineering teams across different sites and timezones

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of professional experience in silicon design and validation
• Strong RTL coding skills using Verilog or SystemVerilog
• Proficiency with RTL simulation tools such as VCS or Modelsim
• Deep knowledge of high-speed interfaces including PCIe, CXL, NVMe, or Ethernet
• Experience with FPGA prototyping and system/IP prototyping
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or Perl

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using lab equipment like PCIe Lecroy or Viavi Exercisers/Analyzers
• Knowledge of DDR3/4/5, LPDDR3/4, HBM, and AMBA AXI/AHB/APB protocols
• Strong understanding of IP/SOC design methodologies
• Proficiency in C/C++
