Senior Rotating Equipment Expert

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and operational support for rotating machinery, including centrifugal compressors, cryogenic expanders, turbines, and pumps.
• Support plant operations through troubleshooting, design reviews, and participation in pre-turnaround (TAR) planning and execution.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for process safety and reliability.
• Act as a design authority for new capital projects and review proposed changes via the Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Collaborate with OEMs and vendors to ensure quality control during equipment repairs and testing.
• Develop technical content, documentation, and training to mentor and grow internal technical expertise.
• Drive continuous improvement in reliability and efficiency across Large Industries in the Americas.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree.
• 15+ years of experience working with rotating machinery.
• Detailed knowledge of various compressor, turbine, pump, and fan designs and maintenance.
• Expertise in lubrication systems and practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex design or operational issues.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
• Ability to work effectively in both corporate and plant environments, including wearing FRC clothing and PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of Oxygen Compression Equipment.
• Experience with Oxygen Cleanliness procedures and documentation requirements.
