Senior Rolling Stock Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design development of metro car sub-systems, including car body, traction motors, brakes, doors, HVAC, and passenger information systems
• Perform detailed reviews of manufacturer design submissions to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards
• Manage system integration of metro cars with Automatic Train Control (ATC), Power Supply, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), and Communication Systems
• Oversee integration testing and commissioning of metro cars on-site to ensure functionality and performance
• Ensure strict adherence to metro rail safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure reliability and operational efficiency
• Prepare technical reports and dashboards for senior management and project stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Rail Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience in rolling stock engineering, design, or integration
• Extensive experience with metro car sub-systems such as traction motors, brakes, and HVAC
• Proven expertise in design review and the integration of metro cars with major rail sub-systems
• Strong knowledge of metro car lifecycle management, reliability engineering, and system integration
• Familiarity with metro rail safety standards and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a PMC or Consultant capacity
• Experience with Rolling Stock Manufacturers
• International experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills in complex, fast-paced environments
