Senior Robotics Software Engineer, Path Planning

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robot behaviors and task-level intelligence across a large scale fleet of robots
• Develop and scale multi-agent path planning algorithms and optimization strategies
• Design and implement task orchestration and robot behaviors across nominal and edge-case scenarios
• Drive measurable improvements in autonomy quality using data and operational metrics
• Collaborate with hardware engineering on software–hardware integration
• Lead technical design reviews and drive architecture decisions
• Mentor cross-functional engineers and technicians
• Triage robotics system issues to ensure production reliability

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in production-level coding in C++, Python, or Rust
• Experience with distributed systems, backend services, API design, CI/CD, AWS, or Kubernetes
• Experience designing scalable systems and leading complex technical projects
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
