Senior Robot Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced learning algorithms for general and dexterous robots using state-of-the-art techniques
• Create sandbox simulations, deployable implementations, and evaluation frameworks for algorithm performance and robustness
• Contribute to data requirements, collection procedures, and data curation
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and robotics from reputable research groups

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent experience, with a Ph.D. preferred
• 3+ years of research experience in robot learning
• Strong background in Reinforcement Learning and Imitation Learning for manipulation
• Proficiency in planning and control algorithms (e.g., A*, MPC) and optimization techniques
• Experience training deep learning models with PyTorch
• Proven track record of publications in top international conferences such as RSS, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CoRL, ICRA, or IROS

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with foundation models and large language models
• Experience with robotics toolkits such as ROS/ROS2, Mujoco, or Isaac
• Knowledge of robotic systems and mechanical design
