Senior Road Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and update preventive and corrective maintenance plans, prioritizing defects based on safety, urgency, and customer impact.
• Coordinate tender documents and technical specifications with internal teams and external agencies.
• Supervise outsourced contractors and review work programs to ensure full compliance with technical specifications.
• Review inspection reports, certify snag lists, and lead inspections for defect liability and substantial completion.
• Approve payment schedules and contractor invoices by verifying accuracy against completed works.
• Monitor maintenance data and progress reports in tracking systems to ensure timely completion of asphalt, sidewalk, and track improvements.
• Conduct periodic site visits to active road maintenance sites to verify work quality and safety compliance.
• Analyze contractor performance and maintenance data to recommend improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree.
• Proven experience in road infrastructure maintenance and contractor supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• ACI or Asphalt Quality Control (QC) certification.
