Senior Road Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and review of road alignments, pavements, drainage, and related infrastructure components
• Conduct feasibility studies, traffic analysis, and cost estimations
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, structural, and environmental engineers
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and tender documents
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to optimize efficiency
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field staff
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and environmental sustainability standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in road design, construction, and project management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
• Strong knowledge of pavement design, materials, and construction methods
• Experience managing large-scale road infrastructure projects
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Familiarity with local standards and regulations in Saudi Arabia is preferred
