Senior Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Risk Management professionals to deliver effective risk management across complex projects
• Plan, design, and implement tailored risk management processes
• Drive continuous improvement in risk and project controls processes
• Act as the risk subject matter expert for major projects or programmes
• Design and facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts
• Maintain project and programme risk registers and ensure data quality
• Manage Quantitative Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis (QSRA/QCRA) activities
• Support efficient contingency drawdown processes
• Work with the supply chain to incorporate identified risks

Requirements

• Experience managing risk in multiple projects or programmes
• Experience defining, improving, or implementing Risk Management approaches
• Familiarity with risk standards such as ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, or IPA
• Experience with Quantitative Risk Analysis (Monte-Carlo) techniques
• Practical experience with QRA software like Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, or Safran
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to manage relationships with strategic stakeholders
• UK driving license or ability to travel to client sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with risk tools such as ARM, Predict!, Risk Controller, riskHive, or Xactium
• Risk qualification such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2, IRM, or MoR
• Experience leading a team
• Familiarity with NEC contracts
• Security Clearance or eligibility for Security Clearance
