Senior Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling
• Use risk data to inform investment planning and monitor overall risk exposure
• Conduct quantitative risk assessments (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels
• Lead and run comprehensive schedule and cost-effective risk assessment processes (QCRA & QSRA)
• Establish integration of risk management within program and project controls teams
• Manage construction stage contract and claims management, including assessment of contractual claims
• Provide strategic and contractual advice on disputes and related resolution issues
• Carry out change management and construction stage cost control
• Supervise measurement and valuation of completed works and variations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience
• Experience in construction project procurement and contract management
• Demonstrated experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment
• Deep knowledge of risk identification, facilitation, and techniques
• In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercial models, and delivery methods
• Proficiency in process mapping, root cause analysis, and value-stream mapping
• Familiarity with web-based database tools such as ARM, Predict, or Tableau
