(Senior) Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct and develop day-to-day operational risk, incident, and Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) frameworks
• Support risk profiling, strategy, and policy development, including tracking risk-bearing capacity (RBC)
• Implement Operational Risk Stress Testing and execute Scenario Analysis programs
• Monitor early-warning Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Facilitate the New Product Process (NPP) lifecycle and governance
• Act as a contact person for the 1st Line of Defense (1LoD) and drive reporting
• Produce quarterly Risk Reports and monthly Risk Culture Reports for senior stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in (Operational) Risk Management, Audit, or Compliance within a bank, asset manager, or financial services company
• Knowledge of regulatory issues related to operational risks (CRR, MaRisk, DORA, SREP, EBA papers)
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and balance competing priorities
• Strong risk-oriented analysis and presentation skills
• Proficiency in German and English (verbal and written)
