Senior Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage counterparty exposures and market risk for Marex Solutions, focusing on OTC, structured, and exotic derivatives.
• Evaluate derivative structures and assess embedded risks to ensure accurate capture in risk systems and metrics.
• Define, review, and enhance risk measurements, methodologies, and limits to ensure alignment with approved risk appetite.
• Provide independent risk assessments for new products and complex structures across Commodities, FX, Rates, Credit, and Digital Assets.
• Partner with sales, trading, structuring, and model validation teams to ensure accurate pricing and valuation.
• Deliver timely risk reporting to senior management, highlighting key drivers, trends, and emerging risks.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including stress testing and capital requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 15+ years of market risk or trading/structuring experience within a leading financial institution.
• Deep understanding of derivative pricing models and risk sensitivities across multiple asset classes.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, stress testing methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in programming and data tools such as Python, SQL, VBA, or PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and present complex findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA or FRM certification.
• Familiarity with risk systems such as Sophis or Bloomberg.
