About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing policies and programs
- Design key risk indicator (KRI) frameworks and calibrate thresholds
- Perform project management tasks for complex, multidisciplinary projects
- Participate in model governance oversight and validation
- Assist in forming risk appetite statements and monitoring compliance
- Identify and analyze industry, regulatory, and market risk developments
- Provide objective analysis of business risks, corporate strategy, and products
- Maintain relationships with Business Heads to understand unit risks
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience with banks or financial institutions
- Experience with third-party relationship programs and regulatory guidance preferred
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory laws and internal controls
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- Superior Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Professional certifications in Risk Management, Audit, Project Management, or Investment Management
