Senior Risk Management and Internal Control Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead RMIC program execution including internal control assessments and FIAR audit coordination
• Design and implement internal controls in alignment with DoD FMR, OMB Circular A-123, and GAO Green Book
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across DoD financial business processes
• Develop corrective action plans (CAP) and mitigation strategies to close control gaps
• Recommend process and policy enhancements to increase auditability
• Serve as a primary liaison between client stakeholders, auditors, and the RMIC team
• Mentor junior analysts through technical guidance and quality reviews

Requirements

• US citizenship with current NACLC and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• BS or BA in business, accounting, or a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in RMIC and/or FIAR
• 5+ years of experience supporting DoD clients
• Deep knowledge of DoD RMIC policy, OMB Circular A-123, and GAO Green Book
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or relevant professional certification
• Direct experience with Statement of Assurance preparation and CAP development
• Familiarity with DoD general ledger systems such as GFEBS, LMP, or Navy ERP
• Big 4 or top-tier consulting experience
