Senior Risk Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Risk Management Framework (RMF) for hyperscale data center programs.
• Lead risk identification workshops with stakeholders and maintain structured risk registers and live risk logs.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, including Monte Carlo simulations and FMEA, for schedule, cost, and technical risks.
• Develop and track risk mitigation plans, monitor residual risks, and escalate critical items to PMC leadership and clients.
• Integrate risk outputs with cost management (CAPEX/OPEX) and schedule controls to ensure accurate contingency provisions.
• Create risk dashboards, monthly reports, and executive briefings for key stakeholders.
• Assess contractual and procurement risks across various contract types, advising on risk allocation and insurance requirements.
• Interface with technical teams and authority representatives to ensure compliance-related risks are mitigated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• 8–12 years of experience in risk management roles on large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience managing risk registers and contingency analysis within a PMC or PMO environment.
• Proficiency in quantitative risk analysis tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis (Pertmaster) or @RISK.
• Direct experience working in or with GCC markets (KSA / UAE) and regional regulatory authorities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to C-suite and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-RMP, or equivalent risk/project management certification.
• Direct experience working on hyperscaler programs or data center projects.
• Arabic language proficiency (spoken and/or written).
