Senior Risk Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business partner to the Operations portfolio, supporting business change and a wide-scale tech transformation.
• Provide oversight and support for RCSAs, incidents, and root cause analysis.
• Support the design and development of effective risk controls within the business transformation program.
• Provide risk insight and divisional risk profiles to Heads of Department to support decision-making.
• Assist in the review, definition, and execution of business area Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Deliver risk training and guidance across the business to empower effective risk management.
• Support the continual development of the 1st Line Risk operating model.
• Triage and submit proposed business risk acceptances through proper governance channels.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a 1st Line Risk role.
• Background in Financial Services or a similar highly regulated industry.
• Experience designing effective controls for regulated processes.
• Strong knowledge of the Three Lines of Defence (3LoD) model.
• Experience working within an established Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF).
• Proficiency in using risk management system solutions.
• Ability to document and review RCSAs, incidents, and risk metrics effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within large-scale business transformation programmes.
• A passion for stakeholder collaboration and relationship building.
