About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with landowners and stakeholders to resolve disputes and avoid legal action.
- Manage encroachments near company assets to protect them from damage and ensure all rights are preserved.
- Interpret agreements and easements, enforce restrictions, and grant encroachment variances.
- Negotiate and secure pipeline rights-of-way, surface leases, easements, and permits to support project scopes.
- Negotiate and issue damage payments with stakeholders.
- Support Community Relations and act as a contact for compensation and claims handling during emergency response efforts.
- Provide consultative advice for developing Public Awareness information, policies, and programs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Five (5) years of related pipeline or Right of Way (ROW) experience, such as contract land agent, in-house ROW, pipeline operations, or title research.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
