Senior RFIC Layout Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement layout for RF and analog integrated circuits including amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and supporting RF blocks
• Work closely with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized physical layouts
• Ensure layouts comply with foundry design rules and support DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction
• Optimize layout for RF performance, signal integrity, matching, and noise isolation
• Support tape-out preparation and coordinate with fabrication partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including RF design, packaging, and testing
• Document layout methodologies and contribute to best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in RFIC or analog IC layout design
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Atlanta, GA

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with advanced semiconductor processes such as SOI and GaN
• Understanding of RF layout techniques including matching, shielding, guard rings, and isolation structures
• Experience supporting tape-out and post-silicon validation
