Senior RF Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, and test RF hardware systems for sensing, electronic warfare, and signal processing
• Collaborate with teams to quantify system performance objectives, requirements, and risks
• Design, simulate, and test RF hardware with an emphasis on integration and verification
• Perform performance trade studies and hardware architecture analyses
• Build, test, integrate, calibrate, and document system performance
• Plan and implement over-the-air system tests and demonstrations
• Manage system configuration, data, and operational procedures
• Prepare design specifications, drawings, test plans, and reports

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience with RF components and subsystems (T/R modules, filters, amplifiers, ADC/DAC, etc.)
• Experience in RF system, subsystem, or component analysis (link budget, frequency planning, etc.)
• Proficiency with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes)
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other high-level languages
• Strong mathematical and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating hardware and software or FPGAs
• Active Secret or TS/SCI Clearance
• Advanced degree in a related technical discipline
• Experience with electronic warfare applications (electronic attack, electronic protection, cognitive EW)
• Design experience in antennas, RF PCBs, RFICs, or transceiver building blocks
