Senior RF Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain requirements specifications for RF products
• Design and prototype RF products including component selection and PCB layout
• Support the development of test plans, procedures, and product documentation
• Liaise with Test and Manufacturing Engineers for New Product Introduction
• Review proposals and requirements to assess compliance
• Support engineering reviews such as PDRs, CDRs, and TRRs
• Provide technical support and anomaly troubleshooting for internal and external customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Communications, or a related engineering field
• 5+ years of relevant experience (for Level I) or 8+ years (for Level II)
• Fundamental RF knowledge including cascaded device analysis, link budget analysis, and HFSS
• Experience developing and delivering RF products from requirements to space-worthy prototypes
• Solid understanding of RF communications and navigation systems
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in space-grade board design and performance simulation
• Experience with circuit analyses including worst case, reliability, FMECA, thermal, and derating
• Experience designing and testing RF systems for launch vehicles or satellites
• Project management or people management experience
• Experience leading incident management and investigations
