Senior RF Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design transistor-level circuits for a wide portfolio of RF products
• Perform design evaluation, first silicon characterization, and detailed analysis
• Develop RF products using various process and packaging technologies
• Prepare required documentation and reports for product development

Requirements

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering (B.S. acceptable with significant relevant expertise)
• Solid understanding of solid-state theory, integrated circuit design, and microwave theory
• Ability to innovate, simulate, and verify circuit performance at the transistor and architectural levels
• Experience with circuit design environments such as Cadence or ADS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF and microwave integrated circuit design
• Experience with multiple technologies, specifically SiGe BiCMOS
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D electromagnetic simulators
• Experience with RF characterization and test equipment
• Familiarity with Verilog
