Senior Reverse Engineer

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer complex software or firmware targets, ranging from Windows/Linux binaries to embedded firmware
• Develop and apply automated reverse engineering and binary analysis tools
• Work in multi-discipline teams to develop innovative offensive cyber solutions
• Perform vulnerability weaponization, exploit development, payload development, and exploit mitigation
• Document, demonstrate, and present research
• Solve real-world problems impacting national security

Requirements

• Ability to obtain an Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience (MS or PhD may be considered with equivalent experience)
• Experience with binary analysis of software/firmware
• Experience with disassembly tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or similar programming languages
• Proficiency in Assembly Languages such as x86 or ARM
• Understanding of reverse engineering fundamentals like memory layout and calling conventions

Preferred Qualifications

• Vulnerability research and analysis experience
• Knowledge of weaponizing vulnerabilities into exploits
• Implant or software patch development
• Familiarity with binary emulation tools like QEMU or AFL++
• Experience with DSP architectures (TI, STMicroelectronics, NXP, or Analog Devices)
• Knowledge of operating system internals
• Experience with embedded systems or firmware analysis
• Experience developing custom emulation tools or disassembler/decompiler modules
• Knowledge of anti-reverse engineering and anti-malware techniques
