Senior Revenue Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the design and oversight of end-to-end revenue cycle operations, including charge capture, claims submission, denial management, and AR collections
• Monitor and manage key revenue cycle metrics such as clean claim rate, AR days, and denial rates, reporting results to leadership monthly
• Develop and document billing and coding protocols in partnership with Clinical teams to ensure consistent application across all payer types
• Lead denial prevention and appeals processes by tracking root causes and identifying systemic gaps
• Ensure billing compliance and operational readiness for new insurance plans and state expansions, specifically for Medicaid programs
• Partner with Product and Engineering to optimize EHR and billing system configurations, automations, and integrations
• Manage and develop a team of 2-3 billing specialists

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or billing operations
• 2+ years of experience in a management or lead role
• Deep experience with Medi-Cal/Medicaid billing
• Fluency in clearinghouse workflows, ERA/EOB reconciliation, and CPT/ICD-10 coding
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing billing systems and EHRs
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive process improvements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in telehealth, reproductive health, or women's health
• Multi-state Medicaid experience
