Senior Revenue Controller

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee revenue-related accounting processes from contract execution through cash collection
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP
• Review customer contracts and commercial arrangements to determine appropriate accounting treatment
• Act as the Accounting and Controllership owner for revenue-related data flows, systems, and processes
• Ensure integration of CRM (Salesforce), contract management, billing, and ERP (NetSuite)
• Lead transformation and continuous improvement of revenue-related processes and controls
• Establish and monitor end-to-end controls over revenue recognition, commissions, and credit notes
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Tax, Legal, and IT teams to ensure data integrity across the order-to-cash lifecycle
• Oversee reconciliation and validation of data flows between source systems and the general ledger

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in Revenue Controls, Revenue Accounting, OTC, or Revenue Operations
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles under IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience managing complex revenue streams and customer contracts
• Strong understanding of ERP (NetSuite) and CRM (Salesforce)
• Experience leading or supporting system implementations and integrations
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a Big Four accounting firm
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, ACA, or equivalent)
• Experience with revenue automation tools
• Experience in high-growth, multinational, or technology-driven organizations
• Knowledge of subscription, usage-based, SaaS, or cloud revenue models
