Senior Revenue Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely journal entries in accordance with established schedules
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Prepare flux and variance explanations as part of the monthly close process
• Prepare key quarterly and annual revenue disclosures, such as remaining performance obligation (RPO)
• Analyze contracts for discrepancies and escalate issues to the Revenue Accounting Senior Manager
• Support annual financial statement audits and SOX testing
• Optimize processes and procedures for scalability and participate in general process improvements
• Assist in the management and use of accounting systems including NetSuite, Zuora, and Salesforce

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of related accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or eligibility
