Senior Retail & Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the direct buyer relationship with Yodobashi Camera and expand into other mass retail channels like AEON
• Manage the Nex Playground Amazon Japan account, including listings, A+ content, and advertising
• Negotiate shelf space, promotional pricing, and co-op marketing budgets with retail buyers
• Serve as the local execution lead for supply chain operations, monitoring inventory and coordinating replenishment
• Drive sell-through performance through data-driven forecasting and account management
• Oversee in-store merchandising, including display units and demo stations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in retail account management, trade sales, or channel management in Japan
• Proven track record negotiating with senior buyers at Yodobashi Camera or major consumer electronics retailers
• Hands-on experience managing Amazon Japan vendor or seller accounts
• Experience in retail operations or supply chain execution in Japan
• Native or near-native Japanese proficiency (written and verbal)
• Working English proficiency for collaboration with US teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consumer electronics, gaming hardware, or kids' products
• Familiarity with Amazon Japan advertising platforms (Sponsored Products, DSP)
• Proficiency in Excel for sales data analysis and forecasting
• Experience working with a US or global headquarters
