Senior Resident Engineer

Responsibilities

• Mobilize company resources to create effective, quality-driven project teams
• Act as the primary company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution
• Negotiate changes to the scope of work and maintain timely change orders
• Oversee the establishment of Project Execution, Health and Safety, and QA/QC plans
• Develop project budgets, schedules, and action plans to mitigate cost overruns or delays
• Monitor and report project progress, significant milestones, and schedule impacts to management
• Establish weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items
• Promote technical and commercial excellence through rigorous Quality Assurance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 20 years of engineering and construction management experience on large-scale roads, infrastructure, and tunnels (including underwater)
• Minimum of 5 years of project experience specifically within Abu Dhabi
• Proven ability to manage projects and interface effectively with clients
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and ability to be hands-on technically
• Must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
