Senior Resident Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the on-site engineering team to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to timelines
• Conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain quality standards and compliance with project specifications
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project success
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Utilize BIM technology to improve project visualization, coordination, and efficiency
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in building engineering, focusing on large-scale projects
• Proven track record in overseeing complex building projects in the Middle East
• In-depth knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and best practices
• Proficiency in BIM technology
• Strong leadership, project management, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent technical report writing and communication abilities
