Senior Reservoir Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive reservoir engineering studies and subsurface evaluations across various assets
• Plan, coordinate, and interpret well tests using PTA and RTA methodologies
• Develop and maintain 3D dynamic reservoir models, including Underground Gas Storage (UGS) systems
• Perform advanced reservoir analysis including reservoir simulation, material balance, and decline curve analysis
• Generate field development and optimization proposals such as infill drilling and workovers
• Support production forecasting and performance monitoring for active and idle assets
• Deliver technical documentation, including well test reports, FDPs, and reserves/resources reports
• Represent reservoir engineering within multidisciplinary project teams alongside drilling and production departments

Requirements

• MSc or BSc in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline
• 10+ years of professional experience in reservoir engineering
• Strong expertise in reservoir modelling, simulation, and well test engineering
• Proven experience working with Underground Gas Storage (UGS)
• Proficiency with industry software including Kappa, PanSystem, Eclipse, and Navigator
• Solid understanding of PVTSCAL and SPE-PRMS standards
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end technical studies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with well completions, stimulation, or artificial lift
• Knowledge of surface facilities
• Hungarian language skills
• Experience leading or coordinating small project teams
