Senior Reservoir Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead collaborative projects with global engineering teams to analyze field performance and improve recovery
• Proactively engage with business stakeholders to address challenges and deliver technical solutions
• Drive team engagement by working with technical experts to generate insights from analytical and numerical models
• Lead engineering teams and provide effective guidance, training, and coaching to team members
• Integrate with adjacent disciplines such as wells, development planning, and geoscience to implement field development plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in petroleum, chemical, mechanical, or other relevant engineering disciplines
• Minimum of 8 years of reservoir engineering experience
• Proven experience leading teams and managing integrated reservoir projects
• Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts, including depletion planning, reservoir simulation, and history matching
• Fundamental understanding of fluid mechanics, porous media flow, and computational fluid dynamics
• Experience in data science or machine learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering applications such as IPM, Kappa Ecrin (Saphir), Eclipse, Petrel RE, Intersect, or CMG
• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, C, or Python
• Experience in computational science, optimization, or advanced machine learning applications
• Experience with carbon storage technologies
