About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct state-of-the-art research in robotics and embodied intelligence, including VLA models, VLMs, and 3D perception
- Design and implement research prototypes and technology demonstrators on robotic platforms
- Work within cross-functional teams to assist in design, analysis, and performance evaluation
- Provide technical leadership and shape R&D priorities
- Generate patents and scientific research papers for top-tier publication venues
Requirements
- PhD in EECS, Robotics, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of industry experience in robotics foundation models, VLA, or VLMs
- Strong research experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and simulation platforms like Mujoco or Isaac Sim
- Solid background in foundation models, generative AI, and diffusion models
- Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, C, C++, Java, ROS, and CUDA
- Deep understanding of robotics fundamentals including locomotion, manipulation, SLAM, and 3D mapping
