Senior Research Technician

Responsibilities

• Collect and process biological samples
• Establish primary cell cultures from pituitary tumor samples for biomarker validation and preclinical drug testing
• Conduct cell culture-based experiments, RNA, and protein expression studies
• Perform epigenetic studies, including DNA methylation analysis
• Conduct data analyses, interpret results, and present findings
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure the translational relevance of research findings

Requirements

• Master's degree in Biomedicine or a closely related field, with a focus on cancer research
• Proven experience in sample handling and processing
• Strong expertise in molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA isolation, RNA quantification, PCR, and genotyping)
• Extensive experience in cell culture and the establishment of primary cultures
• Experience in epigenetics, specifically DNA methylation analysis
• Hands-on experience working within clinical research environments
• Basic knowledge of Rstudio
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously

• International research experience
• Specific experience working with pituitary tumors
