Senior Research Technician

Responsibilities

• Collect and process biological samples within a translational research setting
• Design and execute cell culture-based experiments, including primary cultures and 3D systems
• Establish primary cell cultures from normal and tumor thyroid tissues for biomarker validation
• Conduct RNA and protein expression studies
• Design and perform epigenetic studies, specifically focusing on DNA methylation
• Analyze and interpret data and present scientific findings
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Genetics, or a closely related field
• Proven experience in biological sample handling
• Strong expertise in molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR)
• Proficiency in cell culture techniques, including genome editing
• Solid background in epigenetics and DNA methylation
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• International research experience
• Highly organized and capable of working independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in thyroid cancer research
• Experience participating in innovation projects
