Senior Research Scientist

Responsibilities

• Identify open questions in tenant engagement, conversational AI, and LLM safety
• Design experiments, build prototypes, and run large-scale evaluations
• Drive research projects through to production launch
• Coach junior scientists and review code
• Partner with engineering, product, and GTM teams to translate research into features

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Five years of post-PhD experience in industry or academia
• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling
• Proven track record of developing and implementing machine learning models
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages
• Ability to work in person at the San Francisco office 4-5 days a week

• Established academic record
• Experience with large language models (LLMs)
