Senior Research Chef

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development exploration and testing on competitive products to inform product strategy
• Drive product strategy and roadmap decisions in partnership with cross-functional leadership
• Develop and lead exploratory test strategy to determine hero recipes
• Define and own KPIs for ideal performance across new product functions
• Meticulously record testing results and share with key stakeholders
• Develop preset programs and function recipe requirements
• Mentor junior chefs and food scientists
• Validate recipes and assemble material information highlighting product benefits
• Assist with developing and testing recipes for demonstrations and marketing materials
• Attend and present at internal and external events

Requirements

• 3+ years of culinology, culinary, or food science experience
• Degree in Culinary Arts, Culinology, Food Science, Nutrition, or Marketing/Communications
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Comfort with standard data acquisition tools like thermometers and texture analyzers
• Familiarity with APAC region cuisines and culinary trends
• Ability to work international hours for global team calls
• Proficiency with AI tools for research and workflow efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Japanese, Chinese, or Hindi
