Senior Research Associate, Translational

Responsibilities

• Independently perform experiments related to in vivo and in vitro LNP using techniques including flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, and protein binding assays
• Process NHP and mouse tissue samples and perform cell isolation
• Develop new in vitro bio-assays or optimize existing ones based on laboratory knowledge
• Execute ELISAs, plate-based reporter assays, cell killing assays, transfection, and other standard lab techniques
• Analyze and accurately document all assay results in an electronic lab notebook or technical reporting formats

Requirements

• M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a B.S. with 5+ years of experience
• Proven experience with immune cell isolation and flow cytometry characterization
• Hands-on experience with primary and cell line culture, including troubleshooting assays
• Comfort and proficiency in handling and processing NHP and mouse tissue samples
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of immunology and experience working with LNPs
• Familiarity with performing BLI on Octet instruments
