Senior Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments and implement plans using established protocols with limited guidance
• Perform troubleshooting on experiments and propose potential solutions to management
• Conduct data analysis using spreadsheets and graphing software to prepare experimental reports and presentations
• Present research findings to peer and supervisor review groups
• Participate in general laboratory maintenance, including managing supplies, equipment, and reagent inventories
• Monitor and report on the infrastructure of specific laboratory or functional areas

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field
• Two years of hands-on laboratory work experience or one year of experience specifically with the MSD platform
• Proficiency in data analysis and strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a life sciences discipline
• Experience with antibody-based assays, reagent development, or product development
• Experience working in an industry setting
• Training and experience with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) techniques
• Knowledge of GraphPad Prism, SharePoint, and basic statistics
