Senior Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments using established protocols to support reagent and assay development.
• Perform troubleshooting on experiments and propose potential solutions to management.
• Conduct data analysis using spreadsheets and graphing software to prepare experimental reports and presentations.
• Present research findings to peer and supervisor review groups.
• Participate in general laboratory maintenance, including managing supplies, equipment, and reagent inventories.
• Monitor and report on the infrastructure of specific laboratory or functional areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
• Two years of hands-on laboratory work experience or one year of experience specifically with the MSD platform.
• Strong knowledge of immunoassay technology and scientific fundamentals.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and solid data analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a life sciences discipline.
• Experience running antibody-based assays and developing reagents for product development.
• Experience working in an industry laboratory setting.
• Training and experience with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) techniques.
• Proficiency with GraphPad Prism and SharePoint.
