Senior Research Associate, Histology

Responsibilities

• Execute and analyze bio-analytics, including histology, to assess the efficacy, safety, and biodistribution of novel nucleic acid therapeutics
• Provide scientific and technical perspectives to advance platform development
• Develop in-house capabilities to support work performed at CROs
• Communicate experimental findings effectively in oral, written, and visual formats
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

Requirements

• Masters or BS in a relevant scientific discipline
• 5+ years of industry experience (level commensurate with experience)
• Experience with in-vivo studies, ideally involving LNP delivery or nucleic-acid based therapeutics in rodents or NHPs
• Deep expertise in ex-vivo analytical assays such as ELISA, MSD, qPCR, ddPCR, or FACS
• Extensive experience with histological tissue analysis (IHC/IF, ISH, H&E, etc.), including tissue harvest, embedding, sectioning, staining, and image analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with various mouse and rat disease models
• Experience performing in-vivo procedures in rodents, including therapeutic administration and material collection
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, including panel design, execution, and analysis
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing biotechnology environment
