About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute clinical sample testing and functional profiling of immune responses under GCLP guidelines
- Perform high-parameter immunophenotyping on PBMC and whole blood samples using spectral flow cytometry
- Participate in the development and fit-for-purpose validation of complex cell-based flow cytometry assays
- Process PBMC samples and qualify cryopreserved samples to ensure optimal integrity
- Analyze complex flow cytometry datasets using FCS Express software
- Document all experimental procedures and testing activities using LES and LIMS platforms
- Collaborate with scientists to drive clinical decisions through robust immunophenotyping and functional immune profiling
Requirements
- BA or MS in Immunology, Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field
- 3+ years of laboratory experience, preferably in an industry setting
- Demonstrable experience in cytometry, including sample processing, staining, and acquisition
- Experience with cell-based assays, cell culture, and ex vivo flow cytometry
- In-depth experience with PBMC processing
- Knowledge of GCLP guidelines and best practices for generating high-quality data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within project teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with primary human cells (e.g., PBMC)
- Experience assessing cell-mediated immunity through ex vivo stimulation and intracellular cytokine staining
- Prior experience working in a regulated laboratory environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, GraphPad Prism, and computational skills
- Ability to work flexibly in a high-growth, transformational environment
