Senior Research Associate, Bioanalytics

Responsibilities

• Execution and analysis of bio-analytics, including histology, to assess efficacy, safety and biodistribution of novel nucleic acid therapeutics
• Provide scientific and technical perspectives to advance platform development
• Develop in-house capabilities to support work performed at CROs
• Effectively communicate experimental findings in oral, written, and visual formats
• Work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Requirements

• Masters or BS in relevant discipline with 5+ years of industry experience
• Experience with in-vivo studies, ideally involving LNP delivery and/or nucleic-acid based therapeutics in rat, mouse, and NHP
• Deep expertise in ex-vivo analytical assays such as ELISA, MSD, qPCR, ddPCR, FACS, etc.
• Experience with histological tissue analysis (IHC/IF, ISH, H&E, etc.) including tissue harvest, embedding, sectioning, staining, imaging and image analysis
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with various mouse and rat models of diseases
• Experience performing in-vivo procedures in rodents, including preparation and administration of therapeutics and collecting material
• Hands-on experience with flow-cytometry, including panel design, execution and analysis
