Senior Research Analyst, Private Company Research (FinTech/Payments)

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental company and industry research leveraging traditional and alternative data sources
• Evaluate emerging technologies, business models, and private fintech/payments companies
• Build and maintain complex models to track company and industry dynamics
• Write high-impact research notes on covered companies and sectors
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients, industry experts, and management teams
• Coach and train junior analysts

Requirements

• Extensive experience in sell-side or buy-side research as an equity/credit analyst or strategist
• Proven experience and relationships within the Financial Services, Technology, or Payments industry
• Advanced proficiency in analytical and market tools, including Excel, Python, and Bloomberg
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated track record of building strong relationships with investors and company management
• Deep passion for and understanding of emerging technologies
