Senior Reliability Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product design engineers to ensure products meet life targets
• Perform reliability calculations and develop detailed test-plans for accelerated lifecycle tests
• Lead the execution of reliability tests
• Lead root cause analysis of test failures and field failures
• Support cross-functional DFMEA sessions
• Travel to offsite test locations as needed (<30%)
• Develop in-house test infrastructure for various systems and components
• Train personnel on complex test systems
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols
• Document results in reports and present to stakeholders
• Participate in discussions with suppliers and design teams to improve reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Material Science
• 5+ years of industry experience in reliability
• Experience with reliability calculations and developing test profiles
• Hands-on testing experience with PCBAs, battery, or thermal systems
• Proficiency in Python or Matlab for data analysis
• Strong technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with EV powertrain architecture and HV devices (DCDC converters, chargers, inverters, etc.)
• Experience with data analytics and visualization
• Experience with HV testing
