Senior Release Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software release processes including planning, scheduling, and quality coordination across departments
• Define and continuously improve standard release processes and KPIs
• Establish versioning systems, release documentation, and deployment policies using GitOps
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact release schedules or software quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in release management or equivalent roles
• Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab) and project management tools like JIRA
• Technical understanding of Artifact Repositories and CI/CD toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
• Understanding of containerized build systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OTA system deployment for large vehicle fleets or distributed embedded platforms
• Experience with industry standards such as ISO 26262 or A-SPICE
• Ability to write and debug scripts for build and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of deployment techniques like Canary or Blue-Green and software supply chain security (SBOM, SLSA)
• Experience in autonomous driving, ADAS, or similar fields
