About the Company

Piper Serica VC Fund, launched in 2022, is a $40M early-stage venture capital fund managed by Mumbai-based Piper Serica, overseeing ₹1,300 Cr in assets across PMS, offshore FPI, and angel investments. The fund targets revenue-generating tech startups in semiconductor, spacetech, AI, fintech, advanced electronics, robotics, and more.

Responsibilities

• Lead the building of AuM across PMS, AIF, Advisory Products, and other investment products
• Grow the distributor base and manage relationships with existing distributors
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities to build depth in the function
• Establish strong controls and relationships with existing and new investors
• Act as a brand ambassador for the company at various events
• Ensure all operational and process requirements are completed to onboard investors smoothly
• Drive business through leads cultivated by AVP and Directors
• Service existing investors and distributors through upselling and cross-selling investment products

Requirements

• Post graduate or equivalent professional degree
• 3+ years of experience in the Financial or Banking industry
• Understanding of distributor life cycles and various asset classes
• Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a demanding environment
• Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
• Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
