Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer

Responsibilities

• Own the annual CRS and FATCA compliance cycle, including account classification, monitoring, remediation, and submission to competent authorities.
• Lead CARF readiness and implementation across the Deriv group, developing implementation roadmaps and reporting frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory changes from the OECD and other competent authorities to proactively update internal procedures.
• Provide cross-team support for EU trade reporting obligations under EMIR and MiFIR.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to validate regulatory data.
• Partner with engineers to build and implement AI automation for reporting workflows and data validation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing the full CRS and FATCA compliance cycle.
• Strong technical data skills, including advanced Excel and proficiency with Power Query or similar data tools.
• Working knowledge of CARF or a strong interest in developing expertise in crypto-asset reporting.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements to non-specialists.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work methodically with large, complex datasets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with crypto-asset reporting frameworks.
• Experience working within a multi-entity global corporate structure.
• Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
