About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end regulatory view for a dedicated domain from requirement intake through validation testing
- Serve as the regulatory subject-matter expert for assigned domains providing guidance to engineering and homologation stakeholders
- Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to integrate regulatory requirements into the design process
- Author and maintain Homologation Design Validation Plans (DVPs)
- Oversee regulation-to-code traceability and compliance documentation
- Manage change impact by assessing regulatory consequences of software design changes
- Contribute to team-wide initiatives to improve homologation delivery scalability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive product certification, product safety, or homologation
- Subject-matter expertise in domains such as ADAS, Safety, Lighting, or Connectivity
- Familiarity with EU type approval (WVTA) or US self-certification procedures
- Proficiency in requirements management tools like Jama, Codebeamer, or Flow
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with systems or ECU development
- Experience with software-defined vehicles or OTA release processes (UN-R 156)
- Experience designing and executing regulatory validation test campaigns (DVP/DVP&R)
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting such as Python or CAPL
