Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead crypto compliance strategy, including frameworks for digital wallets, token listings, stablecoins, and custody services
• Monitor global regulatory developments such as MiCA, FATF Travel Rule, and VARA to ensure policy alignment
• Oversee crypto-specific AML/CFT, KYC, and transaction monitoring programs using blockchain analytics
• Manage VASP licensing and registrations across multiple jurisdictions and maintain relationships with regulators
• Identify and mitigate unique digital asset risks, including smart contract and cross-border transaction risks
• Partner with product and technology teams to embed compliance-by-design principles into exchange features

Requirements

• University degree in finance, law, compliance, risk management, or a related field
• 12+ years of compliance experience, with at least 5 years in a regulated crypto or blockchain-based financial services environment
• Proven expertise in crypto regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiCA, FATF, FinCEN, SEC/CFTC, FCA, MAS, or VARA)
• Demonstrated success managing VASP licensing and blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or TRM Labs
• Strong experience liaising with crypto regulators, financial intelligence units (FIUs), and authorities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders ranging from regulators to developers
