Senior Regional Account Manager, Haematology

Responsibilities

• Promote Vertex's Hemoglobinopathy Gene Therapy to key stakeholders and educate them on its long-term value.
• Drive patient referrals to Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs) and validate target referral accounts.
• Develop and execute insight-driven account-level business plans to achieve annual goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical, and commercial field force teams.
• Identify and implement innovative projects to optimize the patient journey and best practice sharing.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Hemoglobinopathy and Gene Therapy landscape, including reimbursement and referral pathways.
• Generate strategic recommendations based on insights gathered from healthcare professional (HCP) and patient stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study.
• Significant sales experience in orphan drugs or rare disease indications.
• Proven track record of delivering against commercial targets and experience with product launches.
• Strong experience working with hospital personnel and office-based staff in specialty care markets.
• Knowledge of Hematology, Hemoglobinopathies, or cell/genetic therapies.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Full German driving license.
• Ability to travel approximately 80% within the assigned territory.
