Senior Regional Account Manager, Haematology

Responsibilities

• Promote Vertex's Hemoglobinopathy Gene Therapy to key stakeholders to ensure the long-term value of the medicine is understood.
• Drive patient referrals to Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs) and validate target referral accounts.
• Develop and execute insight-driven account-level business plans to achieve annual business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical, and commercial field force teams.
• Build and maintain trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders within the referral network.
• Stay current on the Hemoglobinopathy and Gene Therapy environment, including local drivers, treatment pathways, and reimbursement.
• Utilize digital and omni-channel materials to educate HCPs and provide patient support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study.
• Significant sales experience in orphan drugs or rare disease indications with a proven track record.
• Strong experience working with both hospital and office-based personnel in specialty care markets.
• Knowledge of Hematology, Hemoglobinopathies, cell therapy, or gene therapy.
• Previous experience participating in a product launch.
• Full German driving license.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Ability to travel approximately 80% within the assigned territory.
